Who we are
One night on BART, we were having a conversation about our frustration with printing our art. It wasn’t just us- we had so many artist friends and colleagues who wanted to share their art with the world but didn’t have any avenue to do so. As we griped, a realization began to take us both- we could be the solution we were looking for.
As we got off the train, the idea of our little collective had taken root. We invited Abril to be one of our founding artists and began chipping away. We hope to be a source of high-quality prints, and we hope our love for this project comes through every item we make.
Thank you for taking the time to check out our page and products. We’re an extremely small business being run out of an extremely small apartment- literally any eyes on us helps.

Alice - @Purrichi
Co-founder of King’s Plague, Alice is a human (Yes- human. Hard to believe but she is NOT a rat!) who specializes in Art Nouveau inspired fantasy illustrations, tarot cards, and having way too many D&D characters.
She can be found on most websites under Purrichi or PurrichiArt.
Descended from a Bronx rat and Manhattan rat that then moved to San Francisco for some reason, Talos is a queer, Jewish rat human, (yes, totally human, don’t worry about it).
He is a multimedia artist with print shop experience, a deep fondness for the mail system, and other things that are suspiciously helpful for this endeavor.

Abril is an illustrator and art teacher based in Argentina and definitely not an undercover rat. He is passionate about fantasy, musical theater and human art for human artists. Mental health advocate and silly goose.
